How to Unlock Stubborn Modem with Dccrap.exe

This article will show you how to unlock modem model like; ZTE and Huawei using Dccrap.exe so that you can use other network provider on that same network modem.

Download Dccrap.exe Here

Ø     Extract the content of the .zip file

Ø     Once you extracted all the required files, run "dccrap.exe"

Ø     Disconnect to the internet and plug your USB Modem with a different provider SIM. (for Huawei users, you don’t need to swap any SIM). And insert your modem to the USB port.

Ø     Choose what "manufacturer" that your modem is. (Huawei Datacards or ZTE Datacards... choose that matches on your Modem.)

Ø     Click the magnifying glass, and it will search for plugged USB modems.

Ø     Once the modem is detected, go to login page, type whatever you want. It's just a lame login system.

Ø     Click Unlocking menu, then choose "unlock".

Ø     Wait till the unlocker program says that, unlock is successfully done.

Ø     Now, enjoy your unlocked Modem.

Configure your modem to use the network you prefer

Am using Etisalat Modem for the purpose of this tutorial

1.                       Click on Setting

2.                       Drop Menu, locate “Add”

3.                       Insert the network name e.g Glo network

4.                       APN: e.g for glo users; e.g “gloflat” “glosecure”

5.                       Click on Save
