In my recent post, I explained the benefits and detriments of rooting your Android device. So if you’re considering rooting your device, this post is for you.

Rooting an Android device unlocks its potential, allowing users to circumvent the limitations placed upon it by carriers and hardware manufacturers. A rooted phone will be better personalized, perform better, and have longer lasting battery. Before you embark to root your device, you need to some reading on your own, and the best to find related discussions about rooting, guides, and custom ROMs is the XDA Developers Forum. Just search the website for thread on your specific device. You will get methods that have worked for those who use your device type.
Presently, there are various means of rooting Android devices, and one of the ways I’ve tested to be working and support a long list of devices, is via the one-click rooting. All you will need to do is, install some software to prepare, but the actual rooting process is one click. It will only take a few minutes to complete and then you’ll need to restart your Android device. Although there are tons of software out there that does one-click rooting, but the one of the best one among them is the Eroot.
How to Root Your Android Phone or Tablet with Eroot
- Before you begin the rooting process, make sure you’ve backup your device.
- Download Eroot software to your computer from here.
- After installation, connect the Android phone or table you wish to root to your computer via USB cable, and then launch the Eroot software.
- Finally, click on the “Root" and wait for the Rooting process to complete.
